New Mom (On Leave)
A Winnipegger born and bred, Carley completed a bachelor's degree at The University of Winnipeg with majors in Sociology and Criminal Justice. After spending eight years working in social services, she decided she needed a change. She obtained a diploma in Public Relations and Marketing Management from her alma mater, and struck out into the world of advertising. A skilled communicator, Carley is known for building relationships and helping clients lift and strengthen their brands.
Prior to joining the agency, she served as project manager for a spirit and wine manufacturing and distribution company, whose portfolio includes more than 60 of the world’s most well-known brands. Carley has a special place in her heart for rebranding initiatives and strategic communications. She shines behind the scenes – taking a project from conception to completion – as well as in front of an audience. Carley is a skilled and engaging public speaker.
Be it skydiving over the Great Barrier Reef, spinning fire in Thailand or sailing through the Whitsundays, Carley is always pursuing adventure. Most recently, she and her husband Ryan enjoyed a European honeymoon in London and Greece. When jet-setting is not a feasible option, Carley enjoys the finer things in life, such as going to the cabin with family and friends or, of course, opening a lovely bottle of red.
Q. What talent do you wish you had?
A. I have always wanted to be able to sing. I admire people who are able to carry a tune and not make others cringe when sharing a melody. There was a pivotal moment after listening to a video made by my husband at a Coldplay concert when I heard myself singing at the top of my lungs and it resembled the sounds of a dying cat. It was then that I realized I should never lead Happy Birthday or a karaoke classic.
