Jessica discovered art at a young age, and it proved to be the perfect way to keep entertained as an only child. She taught herself photo editing and design using Photoshop 5 in 1998. She eventually decided to upgrade her skills, and studied at Red River College after high school. She graduated from the three-year graphic design program in 2011, and has been immersed in the world of motion graphics ever since. She loves combining design with motion and sound to tell a story.
Jessica is a rare breed of outgoing introvert; she enjoys people and collaboration, but gathers energy from solitude. In her life outside of work, she drives a Camaro named Night Ryder (her man magnet), and enjoys snowboarding, kickboxing, classic rock, Game of Thrones and wine.
Q. What was college like for you? A. There were some crazy late nights spent duking it out over games of ping pong played using handmade foam core paddles. I once spent a whole night on the sixth floor, working on a project and napping on the questionable futon by the elevators. I wonder if it’s still there! I wouldn’t have made it out alive without caffeine.
