A former professional agrologist in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Strautman holds degrees in journalism and agriculture (with a major in soil science), and has worked with ag ad agencies, ag publications and other ag industry organizations in roles as writer, editor and content advisor.
His CV includes work for organizations such as the Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association, Western Grains Research Foundation, Agri-Trend Agrology, Agrotain International, Western Producer, Farm Business Communications and Ag Com Productions.
“We’re excited to have Bill join our team,” says Kiirsten May, Think Shift’s content lead. “We’ve brought him on board to help us continue to support our agriculture industry clients who have seen the value of focusing on content marketing and strategy.”
“I have a high comfort level with western Canadian farmers and a solid understanding of the rural lifestyle. I’m excited to continue working in the agriculture industry across the prairies,” says Strautman.
Strautman is the owner of a Saskatchewan century farm, and is actively involved in his community, having served on a number of local boards and associations, and as a minor sports coach and 4-H leader.
