March 5, 2019, Winnipeg, MB – Think Shift Inc., one of the largest ag-focused agencies in North America, has named Robert Thorsten of Winnipeg as its next Chief Executive Officer. Thorsten has been tapped to continue to grow the agencys depth and capabilities to serve its clients in markets around the globe.

Robert Thorsten joined Think Shift in 2016 as Vice President of Operations and was elevated to Chief Operating Officer in 2018. Before coming to Think Shift, Robert was deeply immersed in the sports and entertainment industry, having worked for the original Winnipeg Jets, the Manitoba Moose and more recently, as Vice President, People and Patron Services for True North Sports and Entertainment. Think Shift will rely on his wealth of business knowledge, understanding of culture and focus on the importance of team as it continues to grow its global reach and serve its clients best interests.

Outgoing CEO and Think Shift founder David Baker had developed an intentional succession plan to ensure a smooth leadership transition. Having made clear his desire to increase his focus on family, including enjoying his new role of grandfather, a search was triggered for a new CEO. Baker will remain a member of Think Shifts Board of Directors and will continue to serve as a consultant to Think Shift and its clients.
