About Jim

With more than 30 years of experience solving marketing and communications challenges for agriculture and food companies, Jim brings a wealth of knowledge to the Think shift team. After receiving a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Ball State University, Jim spent his career successfully leading product branding efforts, reputation management initiatives, crisis preparedness and response programs, and corporate and internal communications.

Jim was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. His midwestern upbringing has instilled a deep passion for baseball, basketball, fishing and auto racing. Jim, his son Christopher and wife Laurie now live in the Kansas City area.
