Matt is one of Think Shift’s most accomplished account directors. He graduated from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree and has over a decade’s worth of industry experience working with some of the world’s most prominent brands. Matt cut his teeth in the advertising industry at MacLaren McCann. While there, he worked on the General Motors account, developing core skills in account management and executing regional campaigns for Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Goodwrench Service. He then joined Cossette, where he worked for nine years developing award-winning campaigns and helping to push the boundaries of some of Cossette’s most prestigious clients, such as APTN and McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada.
At Think Shift, Matt has been reunited with APTN and plies his trade both locally with Steinbach Credit Union and internationally with ADAMA Global. Matt is proud of his Métis heritage, with bloodlines connecting him to both Louis Riel and Cuthbert Grant. He’s passionate about giving back to the community and has volunteered extensively with Ronald McDonald House Charities Manitoba. In his spare time, Matt loves spending time with his wife and two kids, anything to do with sports, and relaxing at his cabin on Lake of the Woods.
