An Overview

A full-day workshop for executive teams from small to medium sized companies to transform the way they view accountability in leadership.

The term “performance management” implicitly refers to a problem with your employees that needs to be managed. But what if you believe a manager’s responsibility is to grow people, not manage them? We will present a concept called Stewardship that holds managers accountable for growing their employees, ensuring that every employee is richer at the end of the year than they were at the start.

This workshop is intended for CEOs and their executives to gain a new perspective on performance management. Participants will be asked to create an implementation plan at the end of the workshop, so the CEO should bring the necessary team of executives who can help make meaningful implementation decisions.

Workshop Outline

Program Outcomes

The workshop will offer analytical tools, frameworks and language for discussing softer, more intuitive organizational issues. Topics will include:

  • Compensation
  • Performance
  • Accountability
  • Stewardship and Transparency

We will provide a prescription for goal setting, monthly one-on-ones and annual performance assessments, focusing on holding managers accountable for the growth of their employees. The final portion of the workshop will be dedicated to creating implementation plans for your company, with input and guidance from Balaji.
